| Abstract: | Treatment of hereditary breast cancer, as that of all types of breast cancer, can be broadly divided into local and systemic phases. In a preceding chapter, the influence of germline predisposition on local management decisions, particularly the appropriateness of breast conserving treatment, is considered.
