Article Title: Vesicle tethers promoting fusion machinery assembly
Abstract: In a recent issue of the Journal of Cell Biology, Shorter et al. demonstrate that p115, a vesicle tethering protein, binds specific SNAREs, key components of the membrane fusion machinery, and uncover that this interaction promotes the assembly of the fusion machinery.
