Article Title: Yttrium-90 radioembolization for hepatic metastases secondary to thymic malignancies: A case report
Abstract: The current guidelines for the treatment of extrathoracic metastases secondary to thymic neoplasms recommend chemotherapy. Thymic carcinomas are radiosensitive, and radiation therapy is recommended for intrathoracic masses and isolated metastases that are not amenable to resection. Liver-directed therapy, particularly yttrium-90 radioembolization, has been used for the treatment of oligometastatic diseases in the liver from various primaries. Here, we report three cases of radioembolization for the treatment of thymic carcinoma that metastasized to the liver. © 2025 The Authors
