Abstract: |
Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid tumor in childhood. There is a spectrum of clinical presentation that ranges from indolent disease not requiring treatment through high-risk disease requiring extensive multimodal therapy and aggressive surgical intervention. Neuroblastoma poses a therapeutic challenge requiring a multidisciplinary approach that requires specific expertise in subspecialty services, including oncology, surgery, radiology, pathology, radiation oncology, bone marrow transplantation, and others. © The Author(s).
