Article Title: Juvenile angiofibroma: Transmaxillary approach via lateral rhinotomy
Abstract: Juvenile angiofibroma is a locally aggressive neoplasm for which surgical management is the treatment of choice. The transmaxillary approach allows for optimal surgical exposure and complete tumor resection with minimal blood loss of most intermediate stage lesions. When used in appropriately selected patients, this technique is associated with a high incidence of cure with limited morbidity and mortality. © 1999 W.B. Saunders Company.
