Abstract: |
Sarcomas account for less than 1% of all tumors that occur in the head and neck region. These tumors have a diverse array of histologies and exhibit vastly different clinical behaviors. As a result of their infrequency and diverse behavior, they are difficult to characterize. This review will first present the fundamental information which is available on sarcomas of the head and neck, and then will discuss articles which have been published on this subject in the past year, Curr Opin Otolaryngel Head Neck Surg 1999, 7:68-71. |
