Article Title: New imaging techniques: Integrating structural and functional imaging in the head and neck
Abstract: The application of fast MRI techniques provides the opportunity to image function in various systems of the head and neck. Incorporating fMRI techniques into head and neck imaging protocols provides the potential for the head and neck radiologist to investigate structural integrity and function and thus play a central role in the diagnostic and prognostic work-up of the patient.
