Article Title: Revue des instruments d'évaluation de la confusion mentale (<<delirium>>) en cancérologie
Abstract: Objective: To review the delirium assessment scales used in oncology and available in French. Method: Qualitative literature review. Results: The literature review indicates that: a) French versions of the scales are quite rare b) most scales have deficiencies in both fidelity and validity; and c) the MDAS scale presents a possible improvement over the other existing scales. Conclusions: Future research should focus on: a) the improvement of the psychometric properties of the existing scales and b) the development of French versions of the most useful scales, notably the MDAS.
