Article Title: Follow-up care of breast cancer survivors
Abstract: Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in women, affecting thousands of people each year. The majority of women are diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, which is curable. The follow-up care of the breast cancer survivor requires an understanding of the goals of follow-up and the short and long term side effects of breast cancer treatment. In this article, we will discuss the principles of follow-up care of the breast cancer survivor. © 2003 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
