Abstract: We report a case of functional vagal paraganglioma to illustrate the biochemical and radiological imaging tests important in diagnosis and to highlight the importance of a multidisciplinary team approach to manage the preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative effects of catecholamine secretion from these tumors. © 2010 by Thieme Medical Publishers, Inc.
