Title: Can longitudinal biomarkers guide treatment decisions? Time will tell
Abstract: Defining patterns of acquired resistance has important prognostic and therapeutic implications in patients with lung cancer. Longitudinal biomarker analysis has enhanced our understanding of tumor biology and treatment response. However, the role of temporally informed biomarkers in guiding clinical decisions, such as local therapy intervention, remains unproven.
