Title: Uterine transposition
Abstract: In this video, we review the steps of uterine transposition, emphasizing robotic trocar placement and docking, how to optimize organ manipulation and tissue handling, and our pearls for successful perioperative management. The patient is a 27-year-old woman with T2 node-positive rectal cancer. Uterine transposition is a new surgical procedure with limited information regarding outcomes. Although evolving over time, we present our preferred patient selection criteria and identify key stakeholders, which include colorectal surgeons, radiation oncologists, fertility specialists, social workers, and radiologists. © Society of Surgical Oncology 2024.
