Abstract: | Skin cancers that develop most frequently on the lip Lip include basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Risk factors for skin cancers in this location include excessive sun exposure and tobacco use. The location of the skin cancer can include the cutaneous surface, the vermilion border, or the mucosal tissue and can frequently bridge multiple tissue types. © The Author(s), Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
