Article/Chapter Title: Emergency oncoradiology: Abdomen and pelvis
Abstract: In the field of emergency radiology, several conditions and complications can occur specific to cancer and its therapies, which can affect the abdomen and pelvis. Familiarity with these conditions is essential for practicing emergency radiologists, as they navigate the complexities of making acute diagnoses in patients being treated for medically and surgically complex conditions. In this chapter, we present a review of several conditions related to oncologic imaging which a practicing emergency radiologist may encounter. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2022.
