Article Title: Osteonecrosis of the jaw associated with pembrolizumab
Abstract: We report a case of osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) with pembrolizumab, a rare yet possibly emerging complication. In this case, a temporal relationship between the development of ONJ and the patient's treatment regimen suggested an association between pembrolizumab/GVD therapy and the development of ONJ. Thrombocytosis and anatomic factors may also have played a role. The number of patients using pembrolizumab will likely continue to increase. We document this instance in order to better inform dental treatment around cancer patients undergoing pembrolizumab therapy. © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
