Review Title: Update on lobular lesions of the breast
Abstract: The current histological classification of in-situ and invasive lobular carcinomas (ILCs) includes different morphological variants, some of which have been recently described. In this review, we will focus upon: (i) the diagnostic criteria of non-invasive lobular neoplasia and treatment implications across different countries; (ii) utility and limitations of immunohistochemistry; (iii) recently described variants of ILC; and (iv) the significance of lobular differentiation in invasive carcinoma for clinical management. © 2022 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.
