Article Title: Methods of skeletal reconstruction following resection of lung carcinoma invading the chest wall
Abstract: Invasion of chest wall by primary carcinoma of lung can be adequately treated by incontinuity resection of the involved structures, with good survival rates. Methods of reconstructing the chest wall to prevent any postoperative physiologic or cosmetic defect have been described. Complications have been rare; they have been detailed, and treatment plans given. Involvement of the chest wall in a lung cancer per se should not deprive the patient of the chance for cure.
