Abstract: We present a microchip technology for single-cell cytokine profiling of circulating CD34+ cells to detect abnormal hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells disseminated from patient bone marrow. It can stratify patients with different subtypes of myeloid diseases. A prospective cohort study (60 patients with myeloproliferative disease and 10 healthy donors) revealed three potential liquid biopsy biomarkers to distinguish fibrotic condition from non-fibrotic conditions, which has been a long-standing challenge in the field. © 2019 CBMS-0001.
