Article Title: Endoscopic ultrasonography of the upper gastrointestinal tract
Abstract: Endoscopic ultrasonography is an effective tool in the diagnosis and characterization of pancreatic tumors. It demonstrates the extent of disease, nodal involvement, and, in many patients, vascular encasement. It is useful in the detection of small neuroendocrine tumors not easily detected by other diagnostic modalities.
