Article Title: Autologous graft engineering
Abstract: Autologous transplantation of bone marrow or peripheral blood stem cell preparations is now a widely used form of rescue from the myeloablative effects of high-dose therapy for malignant disease. The success of this procedure is affected by numerous factors associated both with management of the patient and the quality of the graft. In this review, approaches are described to maximize the success and utility of this therapeutic approach. © 1992, Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. All rights reserved.
