Article Title: A recurring translocation, t(11;22)(p13;q11.2), characterizes intra-abdominal desmoplastic small round-cell tumors
Abstract: We report the cytogenetic analysis of two cases of intra-abdominal desmoplastic small round-cell tumor, one of which had a t(11;22)(p13;q11.2) translocation. The same translocation has previously been reported in two other cases analyzed cytogenetically, indicating that it could be a consistent abnormality characteristic of this rare tumor entity. © 1993.
