Article Title: Primary malignant tumors of the chest wall. The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center experience
Abstract: Primary malignant tumors of the chest wall are relatively uncommon. During the 40-year period from 1949 to 1989, 418 primary malignant tumors of the chest wall were evaluated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Because the treatment depends on the histology of these tumors, the five different types of tumors are discussed separately in the article. The results from Memorial Sloan-Kettering during the 40-year period are stressed, with comparisons to other studies included when appropriate.
