Article Title: Endoscopic ultrasonography of the gastrointestinal tract
Abstract: EUS is a proven effective tool in the diagnosis and characterization of pancreatic tumors. It demonstrates the extent of disease, nodal involvement, and in many cases vascular encasement. It is quite useful in the detection of small neuroendocrine tumors not easily detected by other diagnostic modalities.
