Article Title: Advances in cross-sectional imaging of colorectal cancer
Abstract: Imaging of colorectal cancer is primarily accomplished with computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These two modalities have been used for more than a decade in imaging both primary and metastatic colorectal cancer. Recent advances in the CT and MRI technologies are redefining the precise role of these imaging modalities in the work-up and evaluation of patients with colorectal cancer.
