Article Title: Treatment of peritoneal carcinomatosis of colorectal origin
Abstract: The management of peritoneal carcinomatosis from colon cancer remains a controversial issue. Peritoneal carcinomatosis is associated with worse survival and has led to an aggressive treatment that combines surgery and intraperitoneal chemotherapy (IPC). This review will describe the rationale behind this treatment and the current controversy surrounding it.
