Article Title: Pathologic analysis of sentinel lymph nodes in breast carcinoma
Abstract: Sentinel lymph node biopsy allows the pathologist to focus on the lymph nodes most likely to contain tumor. Immunohistochemical analysis significantly increases the accuracy, sensitivity, and negative predictive value of sentinel lymph node biopsy, and decreases the false-negative rate.
