Article Title: From track structure to stochastic chemistry and DNA damage: Microdosimetric perspective
Abstract: The interaction of charged particles with deoxyribonucleic acid was investigated in terms of proximity functions or microdosimetric distributions. The study determines the DNA alterations or chromosomal damage, and correlate them to mutagenesis and carcinogens.
Keywords: dna; dosimetry; mutagenesis; chromosomes; carcinogens; radiation damage; microdosimetry; charged particles
