Article Title: Changing how we view aging
Abstract: It is time for medicine, particularly geriatric medicine, to incorporate an understanding of how the psychological aspects of aging interact with cancer. The impact has both negative elements-for example, the added stresses of other losses or comorbid ailments that come with age-and positive elements, particularly a lifetime of honing character strengths on which to draw during a challenging time. © 2015 Elsevier Inc.
