Article Title: | Salvage RP |
Abstract: | While technically challenging, salvage prostatectomy provides excellent local control of radiorecurrent cancer and can eradicate the disease in a high proportion of patients whose cancer is confined to the prostate or immediate periprostatic tissue. An even greater challenge, perhaps, is to detect local recurrence while the cancer is still amenable to salvage therapy. |
