Article Title: Breast magnetic resonance imaging: Management of an enhancing focus
Abstract: An enhancing focus is a commonly encountered type of lesion on breast magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. No set criteria for appropriate management are available. Often management of these lesions depends on the interpreting radiologist, with varying recommendations for biopsy, short-term follow-up, or routine surveillance. This article reviews published studies in order to develop a strategy for the management of enhancing foci identified on breast MR imaging. © 2014 Elsevier Inc.
