| Abstract: | In certain designed experiments a sum of independent Wilcoxon signed rank statistics can be used to establish preference between two competing resources. The statistic incorporates not only which resource was selected but also the order of selection. The test can be implemented using modern statistical packages. © 2006 Elsevier B.V.
