Article/Chapter Title: | Inguinal lymphadenectomy, radical vulvectomy |
Abstract: | Vulvectomy and inguinofemoral lymphadenectomy (IFL) performed for vulvar pathologies have inherent risks, including lymphedema, infectious morbidity, and functional impairments. This is especially true given the surrounding structures and inherent microbial flora of the genital tract. In the following chapter, we will discuss ways to recognize complications associated with vulvectomy and IFL and techniques to prevent and manage them. © The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025. |
