During the COVID-19 pandemic, oncology nurses at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center adapted to new ways of assessing patients through telehealth technologies, which revealed a learning gap in their skills for remote evaluations. This article discusses the implementation of a telehealth education course for nurses in oncology ambulatory care, highlighting innovations in practice and benefits for patients. The course's effectiveness was evaluated using a REDCap survey, which indicated increased confidence and critical thinking skills among nurses. Overall, the educational session positively affected nurses' practices in telehealth.
