Abstract: |
The history of cervical plexus blocks can be traced back to techniques of the late 19th century during the development of regional anesthesia [1]. The concept of cervicogenic headaches became recognized in the late 20th century [2]. With the development of ultrasound and its technological advances through the decades, pain physicians have been able to target specific nerves and nerve plexuses responsible for pain, including those that can contribute to cervicogenic headaches. One interventional target for successfully treating cervicogenic headaches is the deep cervical plexus [3-5]. © 2025 selection and editorial matter, Alan Kaye, Mark Jones, Neal Rakesh, and Amitabh Gulati. |
