Article/Chapter Title: Hodgkin lymphoma
Abstract: Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a relatively uncommon type of lymphoma that is highly curable with modern therapy. Because it is diagnosed in young adults, long-term follow-up is required to detect delayed toxicity of the curative regimens, including second malignancies and cardiac dysfunction. In recent years, antibody drug conjugates and immune checkpoint inhibitors have been approved for the treatment of relapsed and newly diagnosed patients, creating new opportunities to develop new safer regimens. As these new highly effective agents are incorporated in second-line regimens, the role of autologous stem cell transplant in this setting will be re-examined. © 2023 by Elsevier Inc.
