Title: Surgery and prophylactic surgery in hereditary breast cancer
Abstract: Women with hereditary breast cancer are at increased risk of second primary cancers in the ipsilateral and contralateral breast. The level of risk varies with mutation and age at first breast cancer diagnosis. These factors as well as life expectancy should be considered when selecting the surgical approach. © 2021
