Review Title: Can molecular insights guide treatment of AML evolved from MPNs?
Abstract: Leukemic transformation of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) is associated with dismal outcomes. The genetic complexity of leukemic transformation of MPNs is being deciphered and will likely result in targeted therapy approaches. Ongoing trials are investigating the efficacy of emerging treatments for this high-risk patient population. This review has outlined recent progress in the understanding and treatment of leukemia arising from MPNs.
