| Abstract: | The standard therapy for muscle-infiltrating tumors of the bladder remains radical cystectomy with or without radiation. Caution should be exercised about recommending newer regimens outside of clinical trials. However, combination chemotherapy programs can produce dramatic and durable remissions in a significant percentage of patients with advanced urothelial tract malignancies. |
