Article Title: Synthesis of an enantiomerically pure intermediate containing the CD substructure of taxol
Abstract: A straightforward conversion of the (R)-(−)-Hajos-Parrish ketone 5 to oxetane 13 is reported. It is anticipated that intermediates related to this compound could be useful for the total synthesis of taxol. © 1993, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
