Article Title: | Two-dimensional ladder network resonators |
Abstract: | A broad class of radiofrequency resonators is identified by a correspondence between their associated eigenvalue problems and those of discrete two-dimensional coupled harmonic oscillators. The utility of the theory as a tool for describing complex circuit designs is demonstrated by the explicit treatment of the subclass of M × N square-mesh planar resonators. The success of the electromechanical analogy and boundary-value analysis in describing these structures combined with the fact that they are easy to build and evaluate underscores their potential applicability to magnetic resonance studies. © 1994 Academic Press, Inc. |
