Abstract: | When evaluating an HIV-infected patient who has pulmonary symptoms there are multiple non-invasive and invasive tests available. Knowledge of the differential diagnosis and the probability of each disease entity based on individual patient history, physical, and other findings will help to identify the test that has the best yield and least risks (see Fig. 3). |
