Article Title: The posthumous analysis (PHA): An alternative to the conventional autopsy
Abstract: A proposal is made to restructure the autopsy procedure in the sense of handling it following similar principles to those used for large surgical specimens. This applies to the indication for the procedure, the criteria for selecting samples for microscopic examination, the need for focusing on the clinical questions asked, and a quick turnaround time.
