Article Title: Voice recognition in radiology reporting
Abstract: The voice recognition system can be added to a standard computer operating environment that allows coexistence with other desktop applications, further enhancing the economics of the automated transcription system. Automated recognition of continuous speech is likely to lead to much higher acceptance of automated dictation because the radiologists do not have to adapt their speech patterns artificially for the dictation system. It is important to evaluate all the features described to determine how a given system will work in any individual practice.
