Article Title: Medical and surgical management of pulmonary metastases from germ cell tumors
Abstract: Cisplatin-based chemotherapy is the primary treatment for patients with pulmonary metastases from germ cell tumors. Surgical intervention has an adjuvant role in the management of patients with residual radiographic findings or patients with progression of disease despite optimal chemotherapy. The experiences with pulmonary metastasectomy for disseminated germ cell tumors at a tertiarty cancer center are presented.
