Abstract: Ethical considerations are an important aspect of a physician assistant's clinical work in oncology. Separate from legal implications, ethical deliberation involves considering the best moral course of action for a patient, with the goal of providing optimal interdisciplinary care. This article investigates key ethical issues pertaining to physician assistant care of the oncology patient. © 2016 Elsevier Inc.
